Hello, True Gem Community! We want to take a moment to acknowledge and thank you for your kindness and encouragement, especially over this past year. Your continued support has helped us stay true to our principles and sustain our team during such a tumultuous year. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for allowing us to do what we love.
Your constant support has encouraged us to remain as open and transparent as possible in all that we do. We are inspired to meet your efforts and honor this community that we’ve built together over the years.
With this in mind, we want to announce that we are preparing for an upcoming increase in our pricing. While we know that incremental price increases are a common and necessary part of operating a healthy company, The True Gem has not made any changes to our margins since 2017. Between 2017 and the present day, the price of platinum has increased 36% and that of gold 49%. This number is simply too much for The True Gem to continue to absorb in a sustainable way. Therefore, our retail prices will increase on June 21, 2021.We are making this announcement a month early in hopes of giving everyone who has planned to purchase in the coming months an opportunity to order prior to this increase going live. If you anticipate making a purchase soon, please consider placing your order prior to June 21st.
It means a great deal to us that we can provide our community with ethically made and beautiful jewelry that is financially attainable while also providing a fair living wage to our True Gem team. Our entire team is deeply grateful that because of this community, we get to come to work every day excited to pursue our dreams.
