As a custom-based fine jewelry company, we work closely with our clients to create a one-of-a-kind product that suits their style. The first step in our custom design process is to understand your vision. Are we designing a ring based on a True Gem piece? Or are we designing a ring entirely from scratch? We encourage our clients to send as many inspiration images or drawings as possible to help us design your ring.
The next step in our custom jewelry design service is to review and sign your Design Contract. While this contract does not “lock you into purchasing,” it does indicate that you fully understand:
(1) The turnaround time for our ethical fine jewelrydiffers with custom design versus a standard online purchase. Custom pieces take roughly 6-8 weeks, given there are no additional modifications or sourcing delays, and
(2) The custom-designed piece will not be eligible for our return or exchange programs.
To begin, we use the CAD process (Computer-Aided Design software) to produce a digital, 2D image of your personalized design. We require a $250 non-refundable deposit which is fully credited towards the total purchase amount of the final piece. The CAD render process helps ensure that the expectations of the final product are clear and that both parties are on the same page as we work together to custom designyour ring.
Once you have approved the CAD render, an invoice for the final amount will be sent to you to be paid in full before production begins. If you are on a time restraint, it is especially important to keep in mind the estimated 6-8 week turnaround once production has begun. Once we have reached this final stage, you can kick back and relax as our world-class jewelers work diligently to make your dream design a reality.
