We believe The True Gem company is more than just another jewelry store. We believe what sets The True Gem apart from the masses is not just our eco-friendly, sustainable jewelry, but the fact that our company was built upon the values of inclusivity and celebrating love for all. From the True Gem Love Stories campaign to the recent launch of The True Gem Ambassador program, our belief in doing right by our community is what has guided us from day one. We are so fortunate and excited to be embarking on a new journey by forming a community of individuals who share the same beliefs as The True Gem and can help us change the way the world sees jewelry. We selected individuals whom we felt exemplified the values that we stand behind and share our vision of connectedness and celebrating love for all. And thus, The True Gem Ambassador Team for 2020-2021 was formed by 23 individuals determined to use their voices and image to help create a more inclusive world!
We believe wholeheartedly that beautiful jewelry does not have to come at the cost of our consciences and should be enjoyed by everyone, regardless of gender, skin color, marital status, or any “imperfections” that truly make us unique and beautiful. We were overwhelmed with joy to have received hundreds of Ambassador applications from individuals like yourself who share the same values as The True Gem. It was an honor to have the opportunity to listen to and learn more about our True Gem community through these videos and stories, and to be reminded that love knows no distance, color, race, culture or gender. We would again like to thank those brave individuals for sharing your powerful stories with us and illuminating the true beauty found in unity.
Our mission with The True Gem Ambassador program isn’t to simply show different hand sizes and skin tones modeling our jewelry, but to also tell our Ambassadors’ stories. We have no need for silent hand models but rather real people with something to say! We want to celebrate who our Ambassadors are, their personal journeys, and the values they stand behind. It is time to embrace the imperfections that come along with being human. It is time to put a stop to marketing practices that promote unattainable perfectionism and instead amplify authenticity and true beauty found in attributes such as resiliency, grace, kindness and so much more. We are overjoyed to partner with our 2020-2021 True Gem Ambassadors on this journey and honored to have the opportunity to know such compassionate, wonderful individuals.
