Since the start of The True Gem company, the Love Stories received by our community have been an integral part of who we are and what we stand for. Reading through these Love Stories has left our team feeling as though WE are the ones on the receiving end of it all. So thank you, from all of us, for being so raw and real. It has been a truly humbling experience for us to read your stories and celebrate with you in this way, and we are excited to now be able to share that experience with our very own True Gem community, the authors of the Love Stories themselves!

"What song can you not help but sing out loud to?" These were the first words Jessica said to me in October 2019. Jessica was living in Dallas, and I unbeknown to her was in Dallas for a concert.

As I was heading back to Little Rock the day after, I read the message from Jessica and replied with a song from the artist I had seen the previous night. I then asked Jessica the same question. She answered with an artist she would be seeing later that night, at the same venue I was at the night before, a funny coincidence we thought! As we began conversing, I informed Jessica that I did not live in Dallas (inside her 5-mile radius she had set up on the dating app) but would love to continue getting to know her if that was something she was interested in. Jessica obliged and the two of us continued to text, and FaceTime for about a month. I'll never forget her reaction when she heard my Southern accent for the first time and how it made her laugh and smile. About a month after we had been talking, I went to Dallas to meet with Jessica in person. This is when Jessica began #FallingforFrancis in the Fall of 2019. It was somewhat of an unconventional first date. We had been talking for a month but were just meeting face to face for the first time. You wouldn't think that I would be nervous, but boy was that not the case. We spent the weekend exploring Dallas, eating at great restaurants, and attending a Dallas Stars hockey game (Jess' favorite sport).

We continued to go back and forth between Little Rock and Dallas every weekend for the next several months, learning more about one another and building our relationship. After months of long-distance dating, the two of us decided that we wanted to live in the same city to continue to grow our relationship. I began applying for jobs in Dallas and Jessica began applying in Little Rock. Each of us had job offers in each other's cities, but we ended up deciding on Little Rock. After career changes, buying our first home together and many adventures, it was time to pop the question. The perfect opportunity arose when we booked a trip to Cabo San Lucas. I proposed on a private sailboat in front of the arch that Cabo is so well known for. It was a beautiful setting and an unforgettable moment I will forever cherish. This is the story of how Jessica ended up #FallingforFrancis, and I'm sure grateful she did! - Kyle Francis
