Since the start of The True Gem company, the Love Stories received by our community have been an integral part of who we are and what we stand for. Reading through these Love Stories has left our team feeling as though WE are the ones on the receiving end of it all. So thank you, from all of us, for being so raw and real. It has been a truly humbling experience for us to read your stories and celebrate with you in this way, and we are excited to now be able to share that experience with our very own True Gem community, the authors of the Love Stories themselves!

I'll admit it. When Keaton and I went on our first date, I had no intention of being anything more than friends by the end of it. I was very clear: "I'll go on a date with you, but I'm not looking for anything romantic right now." His response? "That's fine, and I'd still love to take you out. But, just so you know, I'm not looking to be just your friend." Hook, line, sinker. We both admitted later that it was clear; there'd be no more first dates for either of us after that evening eating sushi and walking by the lake. He was charming, kind, intelligent, handsome, driven, and not to mention hilarious. Just when I had started to think my standards were too high, here came Keats.

To now be dedicating our lives to each other in marriage feels like breathing - instinctual, refreshing, necessary. Quite often we have quiet conversations snuggled up in bed together about our fantastic dreams for the future and how sincerely grateful we are for the rich love and friendship we've found in each other. It's the bedrock of our years to come. It's deep and wide, encouraging and sweet, and (of course) lots and lots of fun.

Our engagement was truly the most beautiful day of our lives thus far, commemorated with a custom piece Keaton spent months working on alongside the talented True Gem team. I'll cherish my ring and the sentimental memories of that day until we're old and gray together, probably overlooking the mountains somewhere.
